Principal's Message

St James Management School was first established in 1998. We offer high quality education in order to prepare our students to meet the challenges of varied professions in their lives ahead. Regular feedback on service and their leaning experience are obtained from students to help us meet their educational needs at the school. Procedures on Students Feedback and Grievances Handling Procedures are established and made known to all students.

To ensure that each student gets ample attention, we keep an optimal class size, with the teacher-student ratio set at 1 : 20 or better. The school has a total of 4 classrooms each with a seating capacity of 40. We have 13 Ministry of Education teachers in our teaching team. 3 of them are full-time and the rest are part-time with us. They not only are qualified but also with many years of relevant experience. They are committed and responsible in preparing students for academic qualifications that are universally recognized."

Protecting our students is a high priority. On enrolment, all students will sign a CASE-recommended Student Contract with the school. This contract offers protection for all students throughout their term of study with us. Also, under CASETRUST for Education, all international students shall be covered under the Student Protection Scheme (SPS). The SPS serves to protect the student’s fees in the event that a PEO is unable to continue operations due to insolvency and/or regulatory closure. Also, SPS protects the student if the PEO fails to pay penalties or to return fees to students arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore Courts. At St James, we have introduced the Student Protection Scheme - Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) to offer fee protection to all international students. This scheme will be offered to all local students who chose to opt-in.

We believe in the transparency of all our policies and procedures; we include an orientation for all new students not only to specially welcome them but also brief them on the following:

  • Details of all pre-requisites and requirements for pre-placement of Course.
  • Details of support programs.
  • Details of student’s pass application and renewal procedures.
  • Student feedback and grievances handling procedures.
  • Details of the procedures and student’s withdrawal from course, non-attendance, termination of course and related implications.
  • Refunds policy.
  • Details of the protection of the students’ tuition fees under the Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) endorsed by CASE.
  • Details on Rules and Regulations of Immigration and Checkpoint Authority.
  • A Student Handbook incorporating the above details will also be given to all students during orientation.
  • We undertake to keep confidentiality of students’ personal records and all Students’ particulars obtained are solely for the purposes of completing course submission only.
